Warranty Policy

Warranty Policy

At SHENTEC, we stand behind the quality of our power tool batteries and chargers. We are committed to providing reliable energy solutions that keep your tools running longer. This Warranty Policy outlines our commitment to you after your purchase.

Warranty Period

We provide a 24-Month Limited Warranty (unless otherwise stated on the product page) starting from the date of purchase. This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

What is Covered?

This warranty covers any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. During this period, SHENTEC will replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship.

What is NOT Covered?

To ensure the longevity of your battery, please use it as intended. This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal Capacity Degradation: Batteries are consumables; a gradual decrease in capacity over time is normal and not considered a defect.
  • Misuse or Abuse: Damage caused by dropping, crushing, liquid immersion, or exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Incompatible Charging: Damage resulting from using non-compatible chargers or faulty original chargers.
  • Unauthorized Repair: Any battery that has been opened, tampered with, or repaired by anyone other than SHENTEC.
  • Improper Storage: Damage due to leaving the battery discharged for extended periods or storing it in a high-humidity environment.

Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email our support team at support@shentec.com with your Order ID and a description of the issue.
  2. Troubleshooting: Our technical team may provide simple steps to verify if the battery is truly defective or just deeply discharged.
  3. Evidence: You may be asked to provide photos or a short video showing the battery failing to charge or power a tool.
  4. Resolution: If the defect is confirmed, we will send a brand-new replacement to you. In most warranty cases, we do not require you to ship the defective battery back to us to save you on shipping costs and avoid hazardous material handling.

Proper Battery Maintenance (Pro-Tips)

To maximize your warranty and product life, SHENTEC recommends:

  • Charging the battery fully before its first use.
  • Removing the battery from the tool when not in use.
  • Storing the battery in a cool, dry place at 30%-50% charge if it will not be used for a long time.

Limitation of Liability

SHENTEC shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products. Our total liability is limited to the replacement of the defective product.
